Footballers Union of Zimbabwe(FUZ) is a Union for Zimbabwean Footballers whose formation was influenced by the ever existing footballers' social and economic vulnerability. We are here to fight for, defend and advance the interests of footballers. FUZ is a member of FIFPro, who are the World Players’ Union, and FIFA recognises it as the sole representative of the players. Operations

FUZ provides services in many aspects ranging from out of contract training camp, education, legal and finance matters. At the beginning of every year they hold a training camp for those players whose contracts would have run out at their different clubs. This training camp helps the players to keep in shape whilst looking for clubs to sign for. They also hold workshops on legal matters such as the issue of what a standard contract looks like, code of conduct for the players, landmark cases as well as on the finance aspect which focuses on income tax, sports industry pension fund. On the education side players are made aware of the dangers of social social media, match fixing, anti-doping and the Z-Card. They also visit teams throughout the year to hear their challenges and address them in a way that benefit both the clubs and players in a win-win situation.
