Prince Ndlovu Invited For Trials At Orlando Pirates
Highlanders Football Club attacking midfielder, Prince Ndlovu (17), is in South Africa where he was invited for a six-day trial stint at DStv Premiership club Orlando Pirates.
Ndlovu flew out of the country on 19 March after Highlanders’ Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match against ZPC Kariba.
Bosso communications and marketing officer Nozibelo Maphosa confirmed Ndlovu’s trip to South Africa. She said:
Prince is supposed to leave today (yesterday) with an evening flight. He will be on trial from the 20th to the 26th of March.
According to the Chronicle, Ndlovu and Majesa Academy’s attacking midfielder Promise Sithole last month missed out on a month-long trial stint at Croatian second-tier club HNK Vukovar 1991 after being denied a visa.
Prince Ndlovu spent two weeks training at Orlando Pirates in January while waiting for the Croatian visa.
The teenager made his debut for the Highlanders’ senior team in July 2022 after he was promoted from the club’s developmental side Bosso90.
He has been compared to legendary Highlanders and Warriors striker Peter Ndlovu who also made his debut for the Highlanders senior team at the age of 16.
