Foreign National Arrested At Victoria Falls Airport Over Possession Of Cocaine
The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) on Sunday arrested a foreign national at Victoria Falls International Airport for possession of cocaine.
A police report seen by Pindula News says the foreign national, Onuoha Desmond Onyii (46), was found in possession of approximately 1kg of cocaine stashed in the linings of hats and jackets.
Police did not reveal the nationality of Onyii.
In a different case, ZRP Marimba has arrested a 27-year-old woman, Rachel Gomba, in connection with the murder of Paddy Mangisa Mlambo, her husband also urged 27.
It is alleged that Gomba stabbed Mlambo with a kitchen knife once on the thigh in Marimba, Harare, on the 24th of October 2022 at around 0600 hours. A police report seen by Pindula News read:
The couple had a fight after the husband, who had been away for three days, failed to give a satisfactory answer.
Meanwhile, ZRP Karoi is investigating a case of baby dumping which occurred at a dump site near Chiedza Primary school.
Police said a 2-day-old baby was found wrapped in a white towel at the dump site.
The baby, a boy, has since been referred to Karoi Hospital for further management.
