Dani Alves To Meet Barcelona Chiefs Over Possible Return In January
Brazilian right-back, Dani Alves, is scheduled to meet the president of Barcelona Football Club over the Samba Boy’s possible return to Camp Nou.
Barcelona president Joan Laporta and head coach, Xavi Hernandez, Alves’ former teammate, are evaluating this possible signing to give an expert guide for the young talents.
Recently, Joan Laporta said Dani Alves was helping the club in many ways adding that the Brazilian had also offered to help the Catalans from a sporting perspective. He added:
With Puyol there is a very direct relationship. They can help if Xavi needs them.
The 38-year old who is currently a free agent, left Barcelona in 2016 after eight years and 23 trophies at the club, saying he has “been lucky enough to wear the shirt of the best club in the world”.
