ZIMBABWE EVENING WEATHER REPORT AND FORECAST ISSUED AT 1600 HRS ON WEDNESDAY 20 OCTOBER 2021 VALID UNTIL FRIDAY 22 OCTOBER 2021.
PREAMBLE
It has been mostly cloudy and cool in Matabeleland South, Masvingo, Manicaland and South of Mashonaland East provinces due to a high-pressure system on the southeast of the subcontinent. The Northern parts of the country, that is Matebeland north, Mashonaland West and Mashonaland Central and the northern parts of Mashonaland East were partly cloudy with scattered light rain. Meanwhile, the high-pressure system has weakened and is moving into the Indian ocean.
FORECAST
FORECAST FOR TOMORROW THURSDAY 21 OCTOBER 2021.
It should be cool in the morning getting warm as the day progresses with brief cloudy conditions over Manicaland and south of Masvingo provinces. The rest of the country should be cool in the morning becoming warm as the day progresses with partly cloudy conditions.
IMPACTS
• High temperatures may cause dehydration and heat exhaustion. Vulnerable members of society (children, the elderly or ill) are particularly susceptible as well as those engaged in outdoor work or activity.
