EFF Zimbabwe Confirms Their Party Official Voted In The MDC T Congress
EFF Zimbabwe has confirmed their national chairperson, Shelton Chiyangwa voted in the court-sanctioned chaotic MDC T Congress on Sunday and reportedly voted in favor of Douglas Mwonzora, New Zimbabwe reports.
This was reportedly confirmed by EFF Zimbabwe outgoing president Innocent Ndibali who told the publication that:
Our member participated at the MDC-T congress and even moved a motion for Mwonzora’s confirmation as the MDC -T president, We are not even aware of his resignation as a member of the EFF Zimbabwe, yet he voted and even went on to move a motion to validate the outcome of the MDC-T congress.
FeedbackThe publication alleges that Chiyangwa’s participation in the election gives credence to vote-rigging allegations by some members of the MDC T:
EFF Zimbabwe claims seem to give credence to the allegations that bogus voters were smuggled from Manicaland, Harare, Mashonaland East and Mashonaland Central provinces to vote for Mwonzora in the election whose outcome has been out rightly rejected by other the participating candidates.
Khupe has rejected the outcome of the election and even fired the winner Douglas Mwoznora from the party. However her lawyer Lovemore Madhuku has said Mwonzora is the elected leader for now till the election is set aside by a competent court.
