2016 Jul 21 On this day, war veterans turned against their long-time ally President Robert Mugabe, describing him as a dictator in a jolting rebuke underlining political manoeuvring over his succession and mounting anger over economic woes.
21 July 2002 Learnmore Jongwe, 27, who was the spokesman for the MDC killed his wife Jongwe acted in a fit of jealous rage when he unintentionally killed his wife, his lawyer, Jonathan Samkange said Rutendo Jongwe, was a final-year law student, she died of stab wounds.
21 July 2019, Susan Tsvangirayi’s mother Mbuya Mhundwa passed on. Susan Tsvangirai was the wife of the former Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai. Gogo Mhundwa died when the Tsvangirai family had 6 weeks before had mourned the death of Honourable Vimbayi Tsvangirayi Java (Morgan’s daughter) and her cousin Tafadzwa Mhundwa.
