Kaizer Chiefs Legend Urges Club To Re-sign Musona
Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Ntokozo Sikhakhane has urged the club to re-sign Zimbabwe international striker Knowledge Musona who is no longer wanted at Belgian side RSC Anderlecht.
Sikhakhane told Soccer Laduma that though Musona would likely demand a lucrative contract since he will be coming from Europe, Chiefs should try to get him. He said:
Apart from contracts and money, with his style of play, I would say he must go back to where he comes from. He must go to where he knows the culture and the management.
FeedbackThe supporters love him there, and that’s at Kaizer Chiefs. When he left for overseas the supporters were behind him and supporting him.
All I will say is that he must go back home, there’s no place like home, which is Kaizer Chiefs.
Kaizer Chiefs are currently banned from signing players until after at least January 2021.
Musona has two years left on his deal with the Anderlecht who are keen on offloading him.
The 29-year-old is believed to be on his way to a permanent deal at KAS Eupen, where he was on loan in the just-ended season
