PSL Expells Herentals FC, Again

The Premier Soccer League has expelled Herentals FC from the country’s top-flight league for taking football matters to court, Sunday news reports.

Furthermore, The Students were fined $100 000 and are required to pay the fine by the end of this month. A judgement by the PSL disciplinary committee delivered today reads in part:

The PSL Disciplinary Committee expelled Herentals FC from the Premier Soccer League for taking football matters to court. In addition, the club has been fined One Hundred Thousand dollars ($100 000) together with the costs of the hearing. The fine should be paid by 31 March 2020.

The Students had a victory dance last week when they managed to have a verdict which had found them guilty of manipulating a game against Black Rhinos reversed.
