Wet Spell Boosts Dam Water Levels
The Zimbabwe National Water Authority (ZINWA) said water levels in most of the country’s dams have improved due to rains received in most parts of the country over the past several days.
According to ZINWA spokesperson Marjorie Munyonga, the national level average rose from 49.9 per cent on February 6 to 50.4 per cent on February 13.
Water levels in most of the country’s dams continue to improve on the backdrop of the rainfall activity currently being experienced in different parts of the country.

According to statistics availed by ZINWA, Bulawayo province has a dam level average of 96%, Harare 15,5%, Manicaland 54,6%, Mashonaland Central 76,2%, Mashonaland East 74,3%, Mashonaland West 72,1%, Masvingo 43%, Matabeleland North 36,8% and Matabeleland South 46,3%.
