MDC Alliance Wins Kuwadzana By Election

The MDC Alliance has retained the Kuwadzana Ward 44 council seat after their candidate Adonia Shoko garnered 1517 votes against Zanu PF’s 718 votes.

According to MDC Harare Province on Twitter:

Wild celebrations in Kuwadzana Ward 44 as MDC candidate, Adonia Shoko returns seat MDC-1517 ZANU(PF)-718 NCA-12 @nelsonchamisa @mdczimbabwe

The council seat fell vacant after the elected councillor died last year.
