Thokozani Khupe Involved In Car Accident

Thokozani Khupe, the leader of the breakaway MDC-T party suffered a head injury when her Isuzu twin cab truck was involved in an accident when it burst its rear tyre. The accident happened last Wednesday along the Gwanda-Bulawayo road, but there was no permanent damage. This was revealed by MDC proportional representation legislator Priscilla Musihairabwi-Mushonga at a Spiritual Solidarity Tea for Khupe in Bulawayo. Said Misihairabwi-Mushonga,

Thokozani Khupe was involved in an accident on her way here. So let’s give her time to rest. Her vehicle burst a tyre and she hit her head so it’s swollen a bit, but we thank God that she is here.

Khupe has vowed to run for president on the MDC-T ticket despite being kicked out of the party for failing to endorse the appointment of new party leader Nelson Chamisa.
