Karoi residents in violent protest after woman gets killed by vehicle evading municipal officers with spikes

On Tuesday, Karoi residents and riot police were involved in running battles after residents protested the death of a woman who had been run over by a vehicle that was evading municipal officers with spikes.

Eye witnesses interviewed by Daily News said that the taxi which was evading municipal police officers with spikes crushed into pedestrians and killed one on the spot. Karoi police had to fire shots to disperse the angry residents who were stoning a car that the municipal police were using to flee from the scene.
